Unlike the other stories here, Eyes Like
Winter was written entirely for my own entertainment and the
web is in fact the first place it was published.
It is a very short piece written after thinking of the title. At one
stage, this was how I began most of my stories and fragments - come up
with a title, then try to build something around it. As the
conspicuous shortage of completed stories attests, this isn't a very
successful approach.
I occasionally think I might develop this piece further, but then again
I'd probably only spoil it.
